havent been updating my blog for a long long while i.e. in the sense of already started entries at that point of time but not completing n posting them. will update n post these gradually, but its not gonna take that fast.

feeling dam sian now over that problem, i've been feeling very paranoid since thinking the worst out of it. maybe i need a pyschiatrist. nobody understands what im feeling right now, the fear and uncertainty of what lies ahead. people around me even my family seem oblivious to my worries, this is what i feel, and think im throwing tantrums for nothing... really upset and hurt. only my mum understands what im feeling now, though she thinks that problem isnt that bad.

things arent going too well for me, besides this problem, finding a suitable job isnt that easy. there are thousands of postings out there, but none seems to suit my requirements, not that im fussy but i would really wana work in the industry that im familiar and capable of.

i dun ask for anything more, just wish i could be happy every day. hope luck will shine on me real soon.

Macau & HK Vacation 20-24 May (Day 1)

Day 1 (20/5 Wed)

yes! gg for a long awaited holiday finally, first time ever since 2007 since i cant spend unnecessarily now. air tics n htl sponsored by Mei, but expenses will by my own money la. was thkg mei muz be too hungri for a holi that she volunteered to sponsor me hahaha. it was in excitment when we booked for our trip but in mixed feelings when we prepared to go, at least for myself becos of the sudden news of h1n1. the news broke out few days aft we booked for our trip.. but we prepared ourselves n armed ourselves with sanitisers, masks, wet tissues etc along wif us hehe, and as the day of our hol drew nearer, we got more excited..

we reached the budget terminal early in the morning (our first time at budget terminal) and waited for irene while anxiously looking at the counters... coz we wanted to be seated together mah, so muz b quick to check in. when the counters finally opened, mei & i rushed forward to join the queue but irene wasnt here yet, coz of all times she chose to take the mrt to airport. FAINT. we couldnt check in without her passport n presence so when it was our turn we let the ones behind us go first. finally she came in the nick of time when our turn came again...

after counter check-in, we went to BT's cafe for breakfast. luckily i bought a sandwich to eat upon reaching the airport, if not will be reali hungry by then. and the cafe very funny de lor, porridge not available, mee soup not available, whatever we wana order they tell us not available so i duno y its still in their menu lor. reali nonsensical! so we ordered what they have and not what we wanted. proceeded to the boarding gate after breakfast.

we took tiger airways, our first time onboard tiger, but i think there r more legspace than in jetstar. landed in macau airport at 3 plus pm, hehe so excited.. my first time in macau. we were led to the venetian shuttle by a hotel staff and whizzed off to Venetian Macao. the hotel is soooooooooooo nice and classy and is reali reali huge! and i love our suite, beautiful, luxourious, cozy... going up some small steps from our living room leads to the bedroom with two big comfy beds, the bathroom and toilet is separate, and there's a dressing table also.. 3 of us can use the big bathroom at the same time, so good!! everything looks so gold in the bathroom! we have 2 tvs in our suite, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room in front of our sofa bed, plus a study desk beside. we were so "fascinated" with our lovely room that we spent quite some time in there taking photos before going down to satisfy our rumbling stomachs hahaha.

settled for late lunch cum dinner at 5 pm at venetian's foodcourt. so hungry le and we din eat anything during the flight. had my favourite 炸俩 from 海王粥店, so yummy!! i missed it so much hehe. so glad tt venetian had 海王粥店 so i din have to wait till HK then can eat le. also had porridge n 肠粉. we spend the rest of the day shopping, taking photos and exploring venetian since we had no time to go out le. it was a wise decision as it was raining outside, only knew that when we went to see the swimming pool only to be told it was closed due to heavy rain. spent some time at the casino, then bought mac up for supper after shopping till the shops closed. back at our cozy room, while mei was trying hard to open her spoilt luggage, irene n i went down to the foodcourt to get more food up as after finishing our mac we got more hungry hahaha. our first day in macau and im LOVING venetian :D

Lazing at Mccafe on Sat and JCo today with Alicia at Bugis of coz not without snacking at the food basement hehe. Uzumaki was having 3rd anniversary promo, so we got ourselves 2 cups i.e. 6 small scoops. What a yummy weekend keke! Oh ya, and we bought fries only bcoz we wanted to sit down to enjoy our food hahaha :D

Cousins' Piggin out Again...

Its the Cousins' meet-up on Friday at Merchant Court Hotel for buffet dinner. We all agreed that its definitely better than Minori hahaha. This is our 2nd time at Merchant Court's buffet, the first was without Irene as she was still based in China then.

First thing I did was to ask Hoon to get my favourite seabass for me as usual hahaha. And you cant miss out on the variety of tong shui ever so mouth-watering, plus other good foodie & desserts, got sharks fin somemore... let the pictures tell...

Cousins' Nite Out

Its cousins' gathering once more at Minori yesterday evening! But it proved to be a wrong choice to dine at Minori, the waiters/waitress there had absolutely little understanding of English, cos they couldnt understand what we want and what we asked at all. All we wanted to know was whether this and that dish contains alcohol or not cos preggie Leng cant take food with alcohol. They just hem and haw, with a helpless expression, and one after another called another waitress to come forward, but all went back not understanding what we said, until their manager was called. Its not something we wanted to make a fuss of, but they all dont understand us and until no more waitress to call, they asked their manager to come. Faint.

Guess they are filipinos or thai, well, not so sure about that, but we cant speak Chinese to them, and yet they dont get what we are saying. The food there is also average, we dont understand why people around us are eating so happily while we were giving the thumbs down for every dish that came. The funniest thing appeared before our eyes when they served us the Yasai Itame (Mixed Vegetables). The veges which we only saw something like one type of vege, is in the most disgusting state, for one, i dont see green veges in there, only saw something like cabbage. Why isit called mix vege when it doesnt even looks like mix vege. It is like unwanted leftovers all thrown together in one bowl. We all stared at it and asked who ordered this disgusting thing and what is that? Leng said she ordered mix vege as she got nothing much on the menu that she can eat so she thot of eating veges. We all stared at the bowl again then laughed and laughed. And u noe what we did? Without even touching a bit of the "mixed vegetables", we covered it up with lots of tissue and put it to the side for the waiters to clear wahaha, we noe we r wasting food but it really doesnt looks like it's edible!

All in all, the oni edible, not even fantastic, food is the croquette, grilled stuff, garlic rice, katsu curry rice. With all this average food and communication prob with their staff, $40 plus for a pax is definitely not worth.. will not go back again.

And all the time, only the 4 of us were eating, as the long-time-no-output Mei spent the whole dinner time going to and fro the toilet. Of course the real fun is being together to chat n gossip, too bad Yen is too busy to join us on our recent gatherings. After a unsatisfying dinner, we went for our 2nd round at TCC (GW) for drinks & cake, and another round of girls' talk.

Fun & Laughs @ "SKY" Gang Gathering

Its buffet time at the Sheraton this afternoon, the place which bring us lots n lots of great memories. Huiling, Meiling, Liming, Ray, Jane, Minghua & I gathered for high tea at the Dining Room, with 2 "absentees". The buffet was until 3 pm if I remembered correctly, but we chatted and bantered till nearly 5. Well, the waiters there didnt asked us to leave, so we juz sat happily till someone said, "Hey lets take photos!"

So there we were posing where someone posed with us that time in the garden, and even joked that we should leave a space in between for that someone wahahaha, thats dam funny!! And there we were again posing at the sofa where someone sat on that time, and upstairs on the 2nd flr where someone held a press con there that time. Omg, what exactly are we doing!! I cant believe this!! We have gone mad!!!

Ray, in charge of getting the cam ready looked for the best spot to place the cam, then sprinting back to position, while we were trying to squeeze ourselves into that "coveted" sofa.. which is mission impossible wahahaha... Its just so hilarious, and we were oblivious to the staff there staring at our mad behavior.

Looking forward to our next gathering, hehehe...

Boys Over Flowers

The long anticipated Korean version Boys over Flowers, adapted from jap manga Hana yori Dango is finally shown in SG on KBS Ch173. It started in Korea on Jan 5. Compared to Taiwan's Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango, Im more interested in Korean's version simply cos I love watching Korean dramas more. Today is the debut of the show and Im loving this drama cos of Jan Di, the korean counterpart of Makino, the female lead. Jan Di is acted by Koo Hye Sun whom I first saw in Hearts of Nineteen. I had read earlier reports from Korea of viewers complaining that Koo Hye Sun is too old for the role and that she doesnt fit in the role of a high school student. But i think otherwise, after watching the first episode & certain parts on Youtube. In contrary, I feel that she lived up to the role's expectations of a student, and portrayed it very well. Despite the age difference between her and her role as Jan Di, the fact is that she looks young (she is in her 20s) and she's got a sweet & cute smile. Her image in this drama is convincing enough for the role... in fact I feel that her portrayal of Jan Di is very adorable. As for the 4 male leads, I have no idea who they are except for one of them, well, its either I have not watched any shows starring these male leads before or they are singers in their first drama. Cos Im not very familiar with Korean singers.

A Long Wait...

I finally got my cheque for the freelance articles that i did for XXX magazine 1 year ago. I dont even know if I shd b happy that I finally got it back or angry that I got it back only after one year. Of so many freelance jobs I did, this was the one which really made my life difficult when it comes to the payment. It doesnt matter to me anyway since I had the money back. But it was just so unbelievable to delay payment till a year later when the sum is only a meagre $200. And it was only thru continuous & repeated reminders/emails, either ignored repeatedly or replies with empty promises, throughout 2008 that I finally could get the money back. Seriously, no freelance writers in the world would do articles for free (unless voluntary), no matter how big or small the amt of payment is, as it is in return for our time & research taken in submitting to them our own original works. And Im glad that it is over...

Was backing up fotos from "lao tou zi" to the notebook today and realised I have captured almost every stage of Alicia's growing-up process on camera. I even had a photo of newly born few-days-old Alicia. Mayb because it was Hoon's 1st baby, I was curious to see her, so when Mama told me that Baby was at Hoon's mother-in-law's house, we went immediately to 8 flr to see her. In the room's baby cot is a big-sized baby, according to Mama.. that was the first time I saw Alicia hahaa.. From then onwards, my camera was always loaded with film every day, I dont know how much I spent on films and developing, but cos every moment, the cute little Alicia came up with different antics and pattern each time.. veri cute de, so I got to arm my camera ready hahaha! Until I changed my cam to digital cam, I had loads and loads of albums of her. These are some of the photos... hahaha ; p

LNY Lunch Buffet @ Riverview Hotel

Went for LNY Lunch Buffet at Riverview this afternoon (初四) with Mama & Mei. It was almost empty with only like 2 table of ppl when we went in, its so funny, its just like the whole buffet is catered for us only hahaha. I guess most of the people went back to work today le, thats why there's so little people. Foodwise, there was alot alot of mains, including prawns, sashimi, to crabs, just too many things for me to list out. Desserts werent that much though, but the kiwi cake and the peanut butter cake is very nice, and is something I dont always see in other buffets.

Decadent Dessert Showcase @ The Rose Verandah

Irene & Mei is on leave today at one stretch up to cny so we decided to go for hi-tea today. We went out in the morning to Central for some last minute shopping followed by Dessert Buffet at Shangri-la from 3 - 6 pm. We were greeted by a friendly staff at the hotel lobby who asked us where we are heading for, she led us all the way into The Rose Verandah when we told her we are here for hi-tea. Great & personal service. We were led to our seat.. by the window.. shiok with the greenery outside. Mei was extremely excited cos it was what she loved--desserts hahaha. I had actually made reservations for lunch buffet but Mei later said she wanted desserts so we changed to their Desserts Showcase buffet.

Irene was super funny when we went to get food. She went one round and came to us to tell us, "Cham, its really all desserts, I was still thinking if there are chicken wings or not". Hahahaha, its really hilarious, afterall Irene is not a dessert lover, so we can understand that kekeke. Irene was thoroughly enjoying herself on her notebook with the wireless access there & Mei was busying herself with the desserts hahaha. I love the classy ambience, and the exquisite cutlery, everything from the plates to cups & teapot was of rose motifs, which is really apt for its name as The Rose Verandah.

The main attraction of The Rose Verandah was their selection of 102 teas. We were very much impressed by the great variety and quality of the teas that we had 3 pots of different teas each, hahaha. But we all loved our choice of our first pot of tea best, coincidentally our choice was in sequence on the tea menu, Mei's Irish Whiskey Cream, my Vanille & Irene's Wild Cherry. Subsequently we had 2 more pots each so in total, 3 of us drank 9 pots of tea altogether... we must be mad hahaha! Ya, and the tea proved too much for me that I puked in Irene's car after the buffet when we were onto the next destination, maybe I drank too much tea.. maybe it was indigestion, luckily I had a plastic bag in my bag, if not I cant imagine how Irene's car would be... Kekeke, I still love their teas, but next time, only 1 pot will do, not 3 pots hahaha... I guess we were too greedy hahaha.

Desserts wise, the cakes were not really that fantastic, but I liked their banana fritter very much, it was different from those goreng pisang u buy outside haha. The cream bulee and rose & lychee dessert was also mouth watering. Other than the puking part, I do like the buffet at The Rose Verandah. I would love to go back again to try their lunch buffet.

Dinner @ Ishi Mura

Met up with Fang & Pat this evening for dinner at the newly opened Jap foodcourt Ishi Mura at Paradiz Centre. Cheryl was supposed to meet us too but last min she cant make it. We ordered really alot alot of food cos Fang wanted to try everything haha, end up we cant finish all, so Fang tabao the remaining food back. It was her treat too. The food was not too bad la, just that it was really too filling as most of the food was rice hahaha. Went shopping at P.S after dinner as Fang wanted to buy cny clothes.

Went Heeren's Shokudo yesterday as Mei got vouchers from her last time there with friends. Mama also went along as she nvr ate there before mah. In the end we only spent like $5 plus for the $40 plus lunch, hehe.. so good to have the vouchers. After lunch we went shopping for cny goodies at Taka & shopping along Orchard area.

Today's shopping destination is Tampines Mall, with Mei & Irene. Today no shou huo for me either. I saw one nice top but too bad its too big for me, sob sob.. Imagine a jobless person like me keep going out shopping kekeke. I want buy new clothes mah, since I cant go Taiwan for shopping so have to shop in SG instead lor, nah, Im not buying for CNY specially, its because my Taipei stock finished liao, so no more new clothes hahaha. Irene, Leng, Serene & me met up for lunch today. Serene is on leave today and Im free everyday mah kekeke. We met at GW and from there Irene drive us to Quayside to Book Cafe. Mei was away from GW so couldnt meet us today. Had ramen and salad at Book Cafe. Leng & I ate the shoyu ramen while Irene & Serene opt for tonkatsu ramen... yum yum their ramen is really the best I tried so far! After lunch, it was back to work for Leng & Irene, while Serene & I went home hehe.

Lunch @ Heeren's Shokudo

Met up with Huiling today for lunch at Heeren. But it was only when we were there did I realised she was talking about Shokudo haha. Cos she told me there is a new Jap food street, but I didnt know there was a Shokudo there since I always go to the Raffles City outlet kekeke. Anyway we ordered ramen, omelette & pizza. Yum... nice! Too bad dont have my favourite drink there. After lunch & chit-chatting, we went shopping! I went to buy clothes from Fox... but spent quite a long time trying, so have to make Huiling wait, so paisey.. hehe. Fox got 50% sale, so it was quite a good deal. Then this Irene & Meimei also in Orchard, and keep calling me to join them for dinner. So I went to look for them after Huiling left. Had teppanyaki for dinner with them at Food Republic, I was still so full from my lunch leh... actually didnt want to eat de, but they say if I cant finish they will finish for me, so sui bian lor. After dinner we continued shopping. Mei copy me also go Fox buy clothes hahaha.

Had an enjoyable day out eating & shopping with Huiling today, followed by more shopping and eating with Irene & Mei hahaha.

P/S: My Shokudo food pixs turned out blur... luckily i took a pic of all the food together, cos my pizza & omelette turned out blur, qi si le. I think I moved away my hp too fast thats y blur.

Nonya Buffet @ Chilli Padi

Was shopping at bugis today but i got nothing to buy :( anyway, after shopping, we had dinner in the evening at Chilli Padi. I ate there before le but not Mama & Mei lor so Mei wanted to try... actually there's no much variety there, juz a few dishes to go with white rice and lots of nonya kueh. Boring... Didnt have much appetite too, so didnt really eat alot. And i was so full after eating so much kueh hahaha. I think only the rojak is nice, cos Mama mixed de, sauce and ingredients are proportionate; and the kueh pie tie also not bad. The chwee kueh like nuah nuah one, not nice de.. tiong bahru market that one is so much nicer. But the kueh is not too bad, juz that eat too much can be very "ni".

Taiwan Xiao Chi @ T3 Foodcourt

Went out with Minghua yesterday... we went airport! Hahaha! Nowhere to go also so we meet at T3 for lunch at foodcourt. Yes, we ate the Taiwan xiao chi, cos both of us now cannot go taiwan since we are jobless (Minghua will join me in jobless club aft cny) so have to eat taiwan food in singapore instead hahaha, and it wasnt anything near to taiwan food somemore, but sui bian la. She treated me to lunch, so paisey... I wanted to pay her back but she insisted on treating me... anyway thanks!! We shopped ard after lunch and chit chat lo. Its nice hanging out at the airport. We both love the airport hahaha.. Minghua also bought chocolate for me, but i forgot to bring my gift for her today.. haiz, nvm la will pass to her when we meet up again.

Picnic on Christmas Day

We spent our Christmas this year with a picnic at East Coast owing to Irene's suggestion. We all welcomed the idea as its been long since I went for a picnic. 7 of us squeezed into Irene's car; including Irene was 8 wahaha... 3 kids & 5 adults (Mama also went along with us) hahaha, and Weiwei had to sit on Alicia's lap hahaha. We all rushed out of the car when we reached our destination to stretch ourselves wahaha, Alicia even showed me her leg with an imprint from Weiwei's shorts, siao si wo! All of us prepared some food, chicken wings, sandwiches, hotdogs, samosas, quail eggs and also titbits and chocolates. We were lucky that the weather was really cooling today since it had been raining the past few days picnic at east coast. Its really relaxing to enjoy the cool breeze by the beach. Alamak enjoyed lying on the grass more than playing with sand. His content smile was apparent when he looked up to the sky, lying on the grass. This lil boy really knows how to appreciate nature. Irene had a book in hand, lying down with the intention to read but ended up sleeping wahaha. Mei was in her own world, staring at dogs that walk past. And I had fun snapping pics of the pigs who were trying at all means to hide from my cam wahaha. We should have more of such picnics in future. Really.

Afternoon Laze @ TCC

Leng, Hoon & piggies, Meimei and I was at TCC at GW this afternoon at 3 plus. Today Christmas Eve so they only work half day. Had drinks and finger food while lazing off the afternoon. After TCC, we went to Hoon's hse where Mei provided free wrapping service for the pigs' new term school textbooks wahahaha.

Pre Xmas Hi Tea Buffet @ Furama

Went for Pre Xmas Hi Tea buffet at Furama City Centre this afternoon, after watching tv's recommendation of this xmas buffet..wahahaha. But the food there was not what we expected or saw on tv. There was little variety especially the mains, and with food like indian nasi brani, indian curry, lamb chop that we dont eat at all, we could only make do with mee siam, porridge, sashimi, chicken wings etc... Alicia said she only liked the sandwiches; Mama only like the porridge and mee siam. We've been to Furama before on normal days and there was even more variety of food than it is in this xmas hi tea. Desserts were also so so, and almost all the desserts, except for the chocolate fondue, are strawberry desserts, logcake not even nice, i think our CoffeeBean log was so much better. The only thing I like is their drinks--soya bean & bandung, but the soya bean was not refilled after the first round. On the whole, not much variety, food so so, and given the higher price for this xmas buffet, we would rather go for their normal non-festive buffet.

Our yearly cousins' Christmas gathering & gift exchange went on yesterday at Serene's house as usual. It was also Irene's birthday yesterday so our logcake coupled up as a birthday cake hehee. We ordered the logcake from CoffeeBean this year... though still not as good as Patissier, is definitely better than the Spinelli log we had last year. And Yen joined us this year for the food.

We had our usual christmas fare... home-cooked bee hoon from Mama, chicken wings from Serene, sushi/curry puffs/ice cream from Leng, pizza from Irene and the logcake from Mei & I. Serene, Leng & I gave Irene her birthday present, and Irene was really afraid to open the A4 paper box of gift that Mei gave her as a birthday present hahaha... iya I shd have taken fotos of her opening the box! How could I have forgotten to take pics of that, qi si le.. Besides food, I actually forgot to take pics of everyone except for that super gao xiao Alamak. Next year must really remember to take le.

And it was so really funny when Irene told me Happy Birthday while giving me the birthday present when yesterday was her own birthday hahahaha! Yup it was a belated birthday present from them as they took this long to get a present wahaha. Its a really nice Elle wallet. Gift exchange was next and we really had fun, just like the kids.

Oh ya, Serene's maid left le, and they now have to do their own housework. Alicia was running about all the time busying boiling and bringing us water, Weiwei & Alamak vacumming the floor, and Alamak vacumm his own leg... faint. He is so so funny la.. I bth.. hahaha. We stayed till night and had an absolutely enjoyable time chatting anything under the sun.

Mama & I went with Serene & family minus her hubby to Lao Beijing for Hi-Tea Buffet this afternoon. Its Serene's treat today.. so nice of her. Hi-Tea was 3 to 5 pm but we left at 4 plus. Food wasnt great and there was little variety, a far cry from what was on the menu when I ate there years back. The pigs were more of the entertainment then as I was busying trying to capture Alamak on camera hahaha.

Had dinner at Crystal Jade yesterday as I got a $30 voucher that I redeemed with my Starhub points. Of course we exceeded $30 but its definitely better than nothing. Very long nvr eat at Crystal Jade le, so the la mian, xiao long bao and our favourite red bean pancake that we ordered tasted extra yummy hahaha... I actually wanted to eat their hong you chao shou but was having a sore throat, so didnt order in the end. Paid ard $17 plus only after using the voucher hehehe.

Met up with Cheryl and Fang yesterday for korean food at Gangnaroo Korean Restaurant. We ordered lots of food on top of the side dishes, kimchi chil gae, bibimbab, kimchi fried rice, fried fish & seafood pancake, with just three of us hahaha. I was the one who suggested ordering the fish after they decided on the rest of the orders, hehehe...

Dessert was served after our meal...yum! We had no difficulties finishing all the food, to our surprise, only to be full to the brim after eating everything haha. Not bad ah, we finished everything. The food here is nice, wouldnt mind coming back again.

Proceeded to TCC to laze and had drinks. Gave them early xmas presents... Fang gave us too, I got a white pouch. And we had another mission.. to eat up Fang's homemade muah chee hehe. The muah chee tastes really good, I would have finish all if I wasnt so full.

Liang Court Shopping & Tampopo-ing

Today is a Public Holiday... no difference for me le but for Mei & Leng, there is.. haha. Leng wanted to shop for Irene's bday present so asked us along. We took a cab to Liang Court, Mama went along with us also since she has nothing to do at home. Lunched at Tampopo as Leng wanted to try the food there. I shared with Mei as she said she's not hungry, so didnt want to order a main course for herself. But she ordered a cake set!! Faint.. Started our shopping after our lunch. Leng bought xmas presents also, so we also know what she bought for other cousins and even myself le... no surprise already.. but nvm la still got the other cousins. Shopped there for quite some time before we took a cab back to GW to continue shopping.

Steamboat Buffet at Hot Pot Culture

Went Hot Pot Culture for dinner yesterday as we wanted to give Alicia a treat. Actually wanted bring her to Sheraton buffet as we thought Alicia would like the food there, but heard from Serene that Alicia is craving for steamboat, so we sms her and asked what she want. As expected she told us ANYTHING. We had to ask her many times before she gave us a definite answer which had us really amused. Told her both hotel and steamboat buf have chocolate fondue, no anything answer, if anything, we bring you eat yam rice (kekeke, she hated yam rice). So came her answer: "Both have chocolate fondue? Then I want the steamboat." We concluded she really put her analytical skills to use and gave us a really good answer.. hahaha.

Anyway the service there really sucks. What a great contrast when I went with KopiGang the other time. We waited a real 45 mins for our ordered dishes to come, only after repeatedly asking them. Each time they said they will check but each time we end up waiting longer. And you know what happened? The person we gave our order to, kept our order sheet in his own pocket, thus our food nvr came. How ridiculous! Alicia and Mei were already 80% full when the dishes came all at one go. When we finished our food, and wanted our chocolate fondue, the waitress is dam funny lo, she brought us the chocolate fondue and the plate of fruits and left it on our table amidst all the hotpot and the empty plates when we asked her to clear our table. She cleared just one hotpot and not the others and left.. And she gave us our chocolate fondue without lighting it warm! she is really very funny lor. Like that how to eat.. sorry I cant lor. Is it too much to ask for asking them to clear the table before we start on our desserts? And she nvr came back!! We asked and asked for our table to be cleared several times to no avail before another waitress finally came n cleared the table and started the choc fondue. And when we first went in, they didnt gave us the plates, chopsticks & spoons while other tables have.. we had to take it ourselves. For this kind of service, Im not gg to go back there again!

I know I kept grumbling about their service throughout the meal, but it was really exasperating to keep calling for them and they dont come. I just cannot stand this kind of service. We have to pay service charge aso mah, and I dont see any service from them whatsoever. Its super irritating de lo. It just spoils my mood!

Mei n i went shopping for xmas presents at Taka on Fri (5/12) and we managed to buy everything we wanna buy, for cousins & frens, in 2 hours time hahaha...Efficient!! And btw im looking out for new jobs again.. really don like the jobscope la, doesnt suit me at all; I still feel i gota find a job suitable for myself, so wish me good luck lor hahaha. Back to our xmas shopping, we also got something for ourselves ~~ a Sleepy Bear for Mei and a Love-a-Lot Bear for myself.. kekeke I had actually wanted to buy Cheery Bear but its not available in that size.. so sad, so got another one instead lo. Speaking of Care Bears, its really our part of our childhood memories, I guess for every 70s & early 80s baby. I rem how we used to get up early morn, and have our eyes glued to the tv set, lying in bed, for our weekly dose of Care Bears cartoon every Sun morn. Well, that was eons ago, when we were still little kids, but that was great memories. Till now, we still loved Care Bears as much... ; P

Met up with Leah yesterday (30/11) for lunch. It's her treat for my bday, had actually want to meet last week but cos I was sick tt few days and wanted to rest, we postponed our lunch date till yesterday. Lunch was at Coffee Club again hahaha... dont know why Leah & I always like to meet there, seems like everytime we meet, we are at Coffee Club. Had a good chat over lunch.. and I forgot to take pics of our food again arggghhhs, getting v forgetful these days le. Went shopping after that, and Leah shun bian bought xmas presents since we are there le. We shared Macs nuggets and fries for dinner before continuing shopping.

Weekend Hi-Tea Buffet @ The Dining Room, Sheraton Towers

Just back from buffet at Sheraton Towers with Mama & Meimei. So satisfying!! hahaha!! First time we ate at Sheraton and we really liked it. One thing for me, when I walked past the Lobby Lounge, I thought of our gathering with Sky in that cozy corner in 2004, that were wonderful memories kekeke.

The ambience was really good, quiet and calming.. the lush greenery on the outside, the sounds of the fountain and the afternoon sun that gave an extra touch of warmth. The food was to our liking too.. olive fried rice (like it so much tt i kept going back for more), samosas, yakitori, chuwamushi, carrot cake, rojak, laksa, popiah, rice dumpling etc, and the unique Vietnamese rice paper roll with duck meat, this is something you dont always see in buffets. Mei went mad and went for one chuwamushi after another, and in the end she had 6 bowls!!!! Siao!!! Hahahaha..

Desserts selection is good too, can say there are more varieties than main courses... main attraction for Mei & I r the chocolate fondue and the cakes; and the desserts in small petite glasses are so attractive! There are also sandwiches (very great variety), nonya kueh, pudding, scones, pulu hitam, durian pengat, waffles with ice cream etc. Overall, love both the desserts and the mains... the timing is good too ~ from 12 pm to 4 pm, more than enough time for us to sit back and enjoy our food leisurely, and I would love to come back again! Mama like the food here too, so we'll definitely be back. Took a pix of the christmas tree in the lobby before we left.

Went Taka to meet Mei first yesterday as she went home aft work to get my inhaler, and brought it all the way to orchard for me. I didnt bring to work today, thought ok le dun need, who knows this morning got signs of asthma again, so bobian gota ask Mei come. Aft that, i went to Centrepoint.

Had dinner at Ichiban Boshi with Kopi Gang to celebrate my bday. We spent a long long time staring at the menu, not knowing what to choose, so in the end just anyhow choose. Fang n I waited dam long for our food--we ordered the same, and it only came after the rest finished theirs... we r reali baffled why it took so long juz to prepare the two sets.

Btw, they gave me a Baby G watch for my bday present. Cheryl, who went to buy it, even took for me a catalogue wahaha! She had asked me if I have anything I need or Im thinking of buying as she doesnt wana buy me something that I dont need or dont like. I told her my sis would buy for me le, but she told me even if they buy, my sis can still buy hahahaha so she even took the catalogue for me... dam funny la. Its pink ~ very nice design, and also one of the few models that I had shortlisted too. Fang also guessed correctly Cheryl bought this model. Wahaha I guess we've got the same taste.

The "drama" came after din, when we asked the staff to bring out the cake, s they had bought a bday cake too. The waitress brought out the cake, and to our shock, the cake was cut into slices. Actually I didnt notice anything wrong, it was only when HW n Cheryl asked the waitress y it is cut that I realised she went to cut it. Cheryl was so angry that she reprimanded the waitress and demand they buy us another cake. Its so silly... i mean why would anyone go cut it when nobody gave instructions to cut. Its reali common sense that a bday cake is meant to put candles then cut on our own, somemore the cake is not from the restaurant... only borrowed their fridge to put the cake first while we havin din. The manager came back with a BreadTalk cake, so we used that to celebrate instead. And I brought the already-cut cake they had bought from Polar home. And before we went off, Cheryl felt bad for scolding that waitress, so she went over to talk to her.

We went to MacDonalds later for drinks and to nua. But duno y I was feeling as if I was seeing stars that I had to keep applying medicated oil, its like a kinda like giddy but still not to that extent that I cant walk. I guess I had an overdose of the inhaler wahaha, cos I felt v uncomfy, I took 3 inhalations instead of the prescribed 2. Didnt expect that extra dose to become like this hahaha. We lazed ard in Mac lo, I had to leave early anyway before 12 am as I have another cake waiting for me at home.

Cheryl help me with my stuff and went out with me to take cab. Carrying so many things... and Im seeing stars!!! HAHAHA!! Might as well la, so many cabs in front of me, surprisingly there was no queue! Got home at ard 11 pm. Had yummy mianxian and Rive's Montblac that Mei bought for my bday. Went to sleep after that... so tired... but happy : )

Had a cousins gathering on Sat (22nd), actually we planned to postpone cos I havent fully recovered, but decided to go ahead when I felt better. Cos I changed my mind at the last min, we didnt meet for lunch but for snacks since we met up at ard 3 plus in the afternoon. But Yen couldnt make it today so we went without him.

Had finger food at Wala Wala in Holland V, afterwhich we adjourned to Essential Brew for tea, cakes and more finger food. A very cozy tea place... we spent our afternoon there eating and chatting. But... I forgot to take pixs of all the nice food, qi si le.. only remembered to take one on my own plate wahaha. Bobian the food came everyone charged at it le, there's no way I will rem to take pixs hahaha.

Sick again

Been sick since Tues til today, it has been 4 days le. First it was sore throat, then came flu and cough, and as expected asthma came next.. its aways like this la, so i cant get sick de, even if its slight sore throat, it will also cause the rest to happen. Think have been going out too often every week to eat n eat hahaha. And its just so irritating that everytime i take the medicine, i would threw it up in an hour's time. I thought im better today le but again threw out the med, qi si le. Hope i can reali absorb the medicine since my apetite is better le.

Food fair @ Expo

Went to Expo foodfair yesterday again haha, it seems we were at the Suntec food fair not long ago, and here we are at Expo again hahaha! This time round, its seems that there were lesser food stalls, but we still managed to have a feast. We had cheese hotdog, cheeseballs, hk mian xian, kou rou bao, honey ji pai, takopachi balls, otah, tutu, satay and mr bean's tou hua, soya bean milk with pearls & soya yoghurt ice cream.

We specially love the chocolate flavoured tutu while Irene sticked to the traditional coconut flavour. Well, I have never eaten chocolate tutu before wor. The chocolate tutu was so yummy that Mei, Alicia & I suggested we buy another box but with one coconut flavour for Irene of course. And we all felt the soya yoghurt ice cream tastes weird, with the exception of Alicia who thinks its yummy and finished all up since we all didnt want to eat it!

We bought back potong ice cream, kou rou bao & mini ang ku kueh for mama to eat, Irene also bought back kou rou bao & mini ang ku kueh for her mum. We rushed home in time to watch the TVB awards to watch our fav 家好月圆 gang receive awards!!

Ran out of places to shop so decided to go airport to walk walk n eat. had dinner at swenson's... my fish & chips, mei's breaded chicken, alicia's baked rice, irene's salmon & mushroom spaghetti, and sides including fries & rodeo wings but when we wanted to order desserts i.e. topless 5 and their new item mudpie, the waitress said mudpie is not available. we were already lookin forward to mudpie, now that it is not available, it left us really craving for it. After that, we went in search for Coffee Club so as to satisfy our craving for mudpie hahaha. anyway its a blessing in disguise, Coffee Club serves the best mudpie hahaha. we ordered our favourite Muddy Mudpie plus lychee tart, and it was super satisfying. yum yum... believe it or not, we licked everything off the plate ; p

Went Chinatown K-Box for K yesterday afternoon ~ Happy Hour 2-7 pm package. But we spent like half an hour to find a parking lot so ended up we started late. Irene is mad, she go K to read papers n feast, the moment we sat down Irene and Mei gobbled up the titbits so fast and kept asking me to press songs, by the time i press fin liao, the two bowls of titbits were almost gone... no wonder they kept asking me press.. qi si wo le.

Anyway, we were there for feasting rather than singing and when Irene suddenly felt hungry, she went downstairs to smuggle in McDonalds burger n fries to eat wahahaha, the whole room smelt of McDonalds afterwards wahahaha. We left earlier at 6.30 pm cos Irene wana go Liang Court for facial. While she was having facial, Mei & I went to shop at Meidi-ya.

Irene was done in an hour. We went for dinner at Tampopo at ard 8plus, had always wanted to come, finally this time can come try le.. Leng would love the food here but too bad she cant make it today. There was a pic in the menu which is so funny, it showed a black pig in a farm, with wordings: "Our pig is free from stress".. wahahahaha!! Stress-free pigs make good pork?? hahahaha!!!

We ordered the very spicy tonkatsu ramen, katsu don set, cold soba, fried sweet potato and desserts ~ the milk tea pudding is yumilicious.. Irene & I couldnt stop eating it, but Mei prefered the cutey orange jelly and chocolate chiffon cake. I love all except that the chocolate chiffon cake is quite normal, Mei had actually wanted to try the cheese chiffon cake, too bad it was already sold out when we ordered, so had to settle for the chocolate one.. On the whole, food was delicious & desserts were fantastic! It was a great n satisfying meal hahaha!

Dinner @ Sakae Sushi

Went to Tiong Bahru Plaza after work on Wed (8/10) to meet Mama & Meimei for dinner at Sakae Sushi. Yes, got a new job after 6 months at home recuperating my fractured leg, and its my 3rd day of work le, but dont quite like it so is still feeling very apprehensive and vexed over it. Had took a real long time to consider the offer, but even when I decided to take it up, I was still apprenhensive.. so I told myself to at least try it out first then decide how.

Anyway, they were already inside when I reached and Mei had already starting feasting away. Well, its a long long time since we last ate there... first thing we noticed was that the price of each coloured plate has increased... But we definitely enjoyed the meal hahaha! We also tried the dessert there for the first time, tempura ice cream ~ not bad! Its definitely a great way to relieve my frustration and sian-ness of my first few days at work.

After dinner, we went NTUC as Mama wanted to buy things. Something we thought was funny made Mei & I laughed like mad when Mama was paying at the cashier. Wahahaha it was reali hilarious! And btw Mama is not working now except for the morning jobs as her evening job plc has closed, that's why she's now free everyday to go anywhere.. that is until she get another job...

小伍今天下午回台北了…… 。

这次我和燕芬没去机场接送机，因为她说她比较想去饭店找小伍，虽然我很想去。29日（星期一），小伍中午抵新，因为燕芬和明花都有工作，即使我在家闲着，也没去因没人陪啰。只能靠惠玲告诉我当时的情形，其实有想过干脆我自己去好啦，反正惠玲也有去，但又不想搭地铁到机场，如搭得士，一定贵死，所已也打消了那个念头。

第二天，30日（星期二），在和Leah逛街后，决定到饭店找小伍。其实燕芬说她牙痛很不舒服不想去，但我还是不断地要她去…哈哈哈。到饭店和燕芬会合，也看到惠玲她们一班已经在里面。今天真的好开心，毕竟已经一年没看到小伍了嘛！小伍的穿着可真是越来劲爆了，呵呵，让我们看了"评语"满天飞…哈哈哈！但很重要的一点，小伍怎么穿都不失帅气的一面。除了和小伍聊天，合照外，我们乘小伍出去彩排后，去到彩排现场。慢慢走近彩排会场，在一片沉静和暗淡的灯光下，我们听到了一个令人振奋的声音，我们熟悉的声音唱出我们熟悉的歌曲……哈哈，好棒！我们也有"瞄"到会场里面去啦，只是一下下！站在外面享受着，想想担心小伍如果出来看到我们在那里一定被骂，所以在那儿呆了多一会儿，就回到饭店了。还好我们跑的及时，因为我们到了没多久，小伍就从彩排回来了。小伍停留和大家聊天拍照是，非常识趣地说：Two Groups…… 哈哈哈！他果然非常了解他的歌友，哈哈。不提也罢，一提就恶（心），每次小伍出来，那班莫名其妙的人就捉住他不放，连我们在说话，她们也插嘴；我们给小伍什么，她们也要说话…真是百分百的没礼貌！可是，今天还是很开心，尤其能"优先"听到演唱会歌单哈哈哈！

第三天，1日（星期三），演唱会的日子！先去饭店，今天的小伍穿的超好看的，很帅！请原谅~我找不到任何一个比这个更贴切的形容词，哈哈！在我们意料之中，小伍今晚是6位歌手中的压轴，所已等了好久，才等到小伍登场。小伍一出场，真让我们眼前一亮，紫色上衣加上白色领带、蓝色外套、黄色长裤，一个很不可思议的颜色配搭，但穿在小伍身上却额外亮眼、青春、帅气，这是这几天的服装中我们最喜欢的！在演唱会上，小伍也讲了一段让台下支持他的我们感动不已的话，完全没预料到他会说的话~就算像惠玲说的狂妄症（哈哈哈）也好，我们真的感动了。

第四天，2日（星期四），也是小伍逗留在新加坡的最后一天，我和燕芬选择不到机场去而去饭店。和小伍说我们不会到机场去，所已才来到饭店和他说拜拜，把东西给了他，聊天、拍照后，就和他挥手道别。小伍也说明年7月会再来看我们，专辑约3月会发行，所以很快就可以见面了！现在就可以开始倒数了……超期待~明年的新专辑和个人演唱会！

Lunch Gathering with Leah

Met up with Leah for lunch on Tues (30 Sep) as she is on leave today and I am as usual idling at home. Took cab to Ngee Ann City and went Coffee Club for lunch. Havent been there for so long.. this place used to be my usual hunt for Leah & me, hahaha. Hmm yummy yummy! Luckily we didnt ordered desserts cos we were really full after the main courses and I had difficulty finishing up my otherwise cool soothing Mint Lychee Freeze drink. And btw I passed the Bossini dress to Leah for her girl from Mei & me.. Mei said Le Ah Ho always treat her to good food, so she aso wanted a share in the present hahaha.

After our satifying and over-full lunch, went shop shop and walk walk to digest hahaha while Leah went to shop for presents for her colleague's kid. Hahahaha.. so i told Leah i dowan to shop anymore.. had wanted to take a cab to Bugis but the taxi stand queue was super long, so asked Leah to accompany me take MRT.. its my first time after my injury that Im taking the MRT leh, bus i started to take liao, but not MRT yet especially this timing when it was after work hours and from the escalators to the train, it was packed. Was very careful with the fast-moving escalator as Im reali terrified of escalators now.

Finally reached Bugis at 5 plus & waited for Yanfen to knock off before we move on to see SKY!!! Yeah...

Met Leah this afternoon for lunch. Long time nvr see her le since she had been busy with her 19-mth-old girl these days. Had lunch at Dome... we ordered a main dish and a side dish to share, incidentally both are chicken and suprisingly it was very filling. Enjoyed eating n chatting, and its her treat today.. ya, everyone is being very nice, giving me treats knowing I'm not working ~ thanks all of u.. u know who u are. But forgot to take photos when eating in Dome hahaha. Went shopping after lunch n Leah bot toys back for her girl.

For the rest of the afternoon, we shopped and rest then shopped and time passed quickly. We shopped until our legs super tired. So when it was time for dinner, we went Wisma Food Republic for Korean food and to rest our tired legs. We went earlier so that it will b easier to get seats.. dont want to sit in the Korean food section cos must pay service charge de wahaha. Anyway we managed to get a seat outside.. better still.

I opt for jajang noodles (korean style 炸酱面) while Leah took chicken with rice. First time trying the jajang noodles here.. always eat Chinese style jajang noodles but not Korean style before. Had seen this kind of jajang noodles in Korean dramas n had always wanted to try. It's nice except that its serving is too big!! Continued shopping after dinner before going home at 8 plus.

Delicious Shokudo Lunch & Hilarious Kenko Experience!

After celebrating the Pigs' bday yday, Leng & Serene went to buy hope while Mei & I jumped into Irene's waiting car to avoid the scorching sun. Went Hoot Kiam to pick Yen before going to Raffles City.. spent a seemingly long time in the car as we went in circles to get to the carpark at Raffles City cos of the F1 road block.

Finally rched and went to Shokudo for lunch. Yongyong was alreadi there. Luckily there was no queue haha. Within minutes, our table was filled up with alot of food. Had a great time eating n chatting. Also celebrated Yen's bday with a small cake from Breadtalk. They gave me a treat today again, together with Birthday Boy, but feel so paisey to have them pay for my food everytime we go out.. when I get a job, would b my turn to treat them. Yong left after lunch and we walk around in Raffles City. Decided to try smthing interesting.

Arrived at Singapore Flyer but not to take the Flyer wahaha... went to Kenko Reflexology & Fish Spa. Wahaha yup thats what we wanted to try.. the fish spa.. letting Doctor Fish "treat" our legs hahaha. We had to wash our legs, from the knee, before gg for the fish spa. Took turns to wash.. then Leng, Serene & I went up first and plunged our legs into the water, and the drama started... Serene started giggling and laughing away. Irene, Mei & Yen came to join us and we started to giggle... its ticklish at first but after a while when ur legs get used to it, it'll be better, but apparently Serene kept laughing away. The fishes flocked to Mei's legs when she came, we were all laughing at her "dirty" legs, saying she got the most fishes. Its just so funny. We were also living exhibits to ppl outside staring at our legs being "cured" by Doctor Fish thru the glass door wahahaha.

After a while, we realised the other pond behind us had bigger fishes. Irene, Leng & Yen went over to the bigger fishes. Later on, Mei went over to join them and back again. Then Serene & I and Mei also started turning to n fro, moving on our buttocks, each time making a big splash into the water, to try the big fishes n small fishes that we made a mess out of the floor, think others would b thinking we have no 仪态 hahaha, especially when one very big fish went to Irene's leg, Irene tried shooing it away with a "Go away Go away" coupled with a funny action, making us and the ang mor couple opposite laughing away.

The bigger fishes were actually more shiok compared to the smaller ones, the smaller ones were more ticklish, while u can actually feel their mouth biting u in the case of the bigger fishes. During the last few mins, all of us squeezed to the side with big fishes. All this while we were snapping away photos. All our legs took centrestage... Guess which is whose legs? Tip: Mei got the most fishes... hahaha! While i was taking a video later on, Serene suddenly screamed n broke into laughter when a big fish bite her hahaha. We managed to take a messy grp photo with our legs in the spa hahaha. Never mind that the photo was a mess, at least we got every one's face in, though Leng who was holding the cam, only got half her face in the photo.

The whole experience was just so very HILARIOUS!! We had much fun & laughs n thoroughly enjoyed being "eaten" by fishes at Kenko. After 30 mins in the spa, we were served tea, ending our totally hilarious & fun outing at the Fish Spa.

Happy Birthday, September Pigs!

Mama, Meimei & I went over to Alicia's plc to celebrate her bday yday noon. Mei & Mama went to collect the cake in the morning. Had the words, Happy Birthday September Pigs on the cake since all their bdays fall in the mth of September. Though its meant to be Alicia's celebration, we decided to let all three of them celebrate together la. Gave Alicia her present, we bot a pure milk tee, flesh imp tee, a G2000 top which Mei & I aso bot for ourselves hahaha, and a cutsy apple necklace... had shared another top from Newbie with Irene in Aug when we were out shopping together. As for Alamak & Weiwei, we bought lots of titbits, Leng too, since they love to eat hehe.

Well, hope Alicia would like the present. This time around, we had much difficulty choosing the sizes.. since different clothes have different cutting, its hard to determine her size, in the end the clothes we bot are either too big or just nice. We actually prefer to buy bigger sizes so it would fit more comfortable. Alicia said she liked the G2 top best, wahaha Mei & I aso like that alot.. who knows one day, we will end up wearing the same top out hahaha.

Leng came later and we had the cake-cutting... we bot soy cheese cake fr Rive Gauche, but seemed it din go too well with the pigs as compared to chocolate cakes, hahaha. Stayed at Serene's place for a while before adjourning to our next destination---lunch gathering with cousins cum celebrating Yen's bday.

Alicia's Birthday Treat & Suntec Food Fair

Went Waraku Pasta today for lunch with Alicia, Mei & Mama, our usual birthday treat for Alicia, had it early since we are all free today. Alicia wanted to try the pasta at Waraku so we went to the nearest outlet at Central, took cab lo but near near only, not so bad la. I had chicken & mushroom pasta, Mei had prawn & mushroom, Alicia chose chicken & egg and Mama opted for fried rice with scallop. We ordered Cabonora Pizza and two desserts too. Shopped in Central for a while after lunch before going home since Mama gota go to work le. Alicia also went home aft that.

Alicia reported at our hse again in the evening at 5 plus as our dearest Irene suddenly called n said she's on the way to our plc, reaching in 20 mins time when she had originally told me she will come at 6pm. And I just on my notebook... haiyo! Was at Suntec before 6pm and shopped for a while before gg up to the Food Fair.

On our entrance, we bought and finished a packet of fries in a few mins, and the drama came when we bought the Cheese Meatballs. Was standing at the side eating the piping hot cheese balls, as i took a bite and ate one, i was looking ard at other stalls when i turned back and saw Mei soaked in cheese, the cheese dripping from her hair, her specs, her nose, her shirt, and worst onto Alicia's and my shirt. Apparently she bite it too hard and the cheese just splurged out in all directions. The 3 of us stared at her in disbelief and laughed n laughed till I cant stand straight. Alicia was standing on her left and me on her right and we kena but Irene who was opposite her was spared of cheese. It was just so funny!!! We stood there for quite a while trying to help her clean up her mess before we continued to eat hahahaha... iyo I reali shd have taken a pic of her in cheese, guess I was too busy laughing away hahaha.

We bought cha kuay tiao then went to find place to sit n eat. I was just so tired from all the laughing wahaha. Got a table and they went to buy more food while I sat there to "guard" the seats, meanwhile I lost count of how many times I had to say: "It's taken..." "you ren zuo.." to people eyeing our seats. We had a feast when they came back with taiwan ji pai (obviously not authentic but nvm), otah, bite sized sausage, laksa, kuey pie tee, or-ah mee sua and lastly iced dessert. Irene also couldnt resist the temptation of eating the kong bah bao, but we were too full to eat le.

Walked ard to look at other health products and drinks stalls before going home. Started on 溏心风暴之家好月圆dvds when we were home hehehe.

Mei & I went Bugis Junction shopping yday.. Irene was bz with comex among other things so she wasnt free to go with us. Anyway the motive of our shopping today is to buy Alicia's pressie.. as expected Mei went on her own shopping spree instead, she mad le.. but of cos we still remembered our "mission" today. Got Alicia's pres and had wanted to buy more before Mei kept reminding me no money liao la.. wahahaha, well we always go over-budget for her pres.

The best thing when we bot one of her pres was that aft paying, as i was walking out of the shop, the staff called me and shuffled two bottles of limited edition Cokes to me with a "this is for you".. Wahaha, din noe we get free cokes for buying things from them. But it came timely as we were quite thirsty anyway le.. hahaha.

We continued shopping until our tired legs brought us to the basement of food sprawling everywhere. Settled into a cozy corner and ordered fish & chips and vanilla ice cream with cheese tofu. Went home aft shopping for a while more. The cab fare was so exp man! from our hse to bugis is actually v near.. all becos of the stupid ERP!! Irritating!!

Oomphatico's-ing

It's Cousins Gathering once again with Irene, Serene, Yen, Leng, Mei & I!! Over the dining venue, we have been throwing in more n more ideas everyday.. from shokudo to oomphatico's to tim sum to carlton hotel to traders hotel... everyone couldnt decide where. All because of Irene's "I want eat organic food" email, we kept changing n changing ideas hahaha! Nobody wanted organic food but again there is non-organic food too. Even when we rched Tanglin Mall, we wanted to look around the choices before deciding. Finally we decided on Oomphatico's.. luckily i had made a reservation in case beforehand, after Irene had told me to reserve first then decide hahaha!

It's a nice, cosy and classy place with unique cutlery, interesting menu, out-of-the-blue food names and a "thought-provoking" extraordinary reservation tag, which had Yen asking the waitress what that sentence means hahaha. And we all learnt smthing from that. Oh its Wendy and Peter Pan... hahahaha. And yes, we decided that waitress like Yen hahahaha!!

There's a great variety of food.. we ordered Free the Sushi (organic sushi rice), Fish with jasmine rice, Spaghetti Carbonara, Fusilli de Pollo (smthing like italian vermicelli), Phat Fries with test tube concoctions, Satay Song, Ham & Cheese pizza. The sushi rice and fish had a very fishy smell when served, but upon tasting it, it wasnt so fishy afterall. Serene most funny la, pass the fish around for all to try, and she herself dont dare to try. We had to assure her its doesnt taste fishy la hahaha. Desserts time and we had Panna Cota, Tiramisu and Meringue... sweet sinful treats.

Had a great time enjoying our food, chatting, and we managed to take a rare group photo after our lunch. They all dont quite like taking photos so we dont usually take for most of our gatherings. Oh ya, they gave me a treat since I was still jobless haha! Serene went back after lunch and we continued shopping at Liang Court Meidi-Ya after gg to the temple. Had crepes afterwards and Mei also bot bento set back. Irene was sending Yen back when there was a loud bang.. her car bumped into a cab. The cab was ok but Irene's car wasnt; the bumper was badly dented. Haiz now Irene has got to spend on repairs but at least nothing serious happened. We adjourned to Great World to shop, afterwhich we bot dinner and went home.

Seoul Yummy!!

Meimei took the day off today as she got to clear her one day extra National Day leave le. Again, we asked Mama to ask for off today so that we can go out. We went to Square 2 for lunch at 2 plus, no thanks to me, as I was having a long bath after removing my bandage.. i cannot stand the chinese medicine smell la, so was tryin hard to wash off the smell, and they had to wait for me lor thats y we ended up having lunch late.

Had lunch at a Korean restaurant, and like the restaurant name, its indeed seoul yummy! We had soba fish with rice, spicy rice cake with ramen, potato pancake, chicken with salad sauce and banana & red bean dessert, and not to forget, our favourite Korean barley tea. All was yummy except the ramen which was abit spicy for me but perfect for Mama. Mama loved the spicy rice cakes so much that she ate almost all of it hahaha. I guess the only restaurant we could make Mama step in to eat are korean restaurants.. haha!!

After lunch, Mei and I went to the toilet while Mama was looking at the display at Hankook Rice Cake House. I was telling Mei maybe Mama is buying the rice cakes le. And true to it, when we came out, Mama was already paying for the spicy rice cakes! She just cant get enough of the rice cakes haha. We also bot another type of rice cakes with 3 flavours in a box, after Mei tried and said it was nice. But its really delicious...

We went shopping and Mei went to buy accessories again. Had a great time today with all the yummy food and shopping!

Cheryl & Fang came over my place yesterday (Fri) evening and walked with me to Great World City as i still need someone to be with me when i go out haha. Went to look for dinner there.. as i had told them, there's not much choices when it comes to food. Eventually we settled for Bentendo Pasta & Cafe.. i havent tried this place before though i always pass by haha.

They ordered pasta while i opt for omelette rice with onion rings. The food is quite nice, at least i find my omelette rice tasty. We also ordered a two-flavoured pizza. Haha each time the food arrives, we would go snapping away.. hehe i think i love eating out with them best cos we all automically get ready our cams to take pixs of our food. Think my cousins hate me for doing it every time when they are ready to dig in and i'll go WAIT WAIT!! i wanna take photos!

We catched up with the latest gossip while eating and chit-chatting. Shopped around for a while after din, until the shops pulled down the shutters on us haha. Fang bot a delicious chocolate banana cake from Da Paolo Gastronomia and off we went to McDonalds to savour our cake while continuing with our little chat. Glad to have them for company yesterday hehee..

昨天（10/8, Sun）和燕芬&明花到Allson Hotel享受buffet。好久没见面了，应该有超过半年了，所已我们三人一直非常期待这次的聚会。因为我的脚伤所以一直不能出去，所已当我觉得我好一点了，就和她们约时间出来。虽然可以走了，但还是不太稳，所已只能搭德士去。也很久没到Allson吃了，所以也蛮享受那里的气氛和食物。食物种类简单、大众化，但味道都很不错，这里也成为我们每次聚会的地方。

认识这两个瓜也有好多年了而我们都很谈得来，虽然是因为小伍而认识，但我们私底下常常出去吃饭逛街，话题也不限于小伍…我们其实什么都聊；还有我和明花的共同点是很爱去台湾哈哈哈。Anyway我们从11.30 am坐到5 pm，吃喝聊天，不只不觉5 pm就到了…我们还花了很长时间拍照玩闹呢~快乐的时光总是过得很快…嘻嘻。

Buffet过后，到Bugis Junction的SISTIC拿我们的演唱会门票。也顺道去Muji"补货"，因为家里的都吃完了，哈哈。花了好长时间在那里。本来要明花陪我去Orchard买Mei那份迟来的生日礼物，但想到那个时候的Orchard应该很多人，所已决定不去了。当时她生日时，我脚伤不能出去，只好等到现在…也真够久了。在那儿的city chain看看，反正已经在那里了，所已干脆在那里买算了。选了蛮久，终于买了Mei一直想要的odm手表，这下她肯定高兴极了。虽然目前没收入，但给妹礼物的预算还是有的啦。

逛了许久后，我们才要回。她们陪我一起等德士，明花突然赛了一包东西给燕芬和我，原来她在Muji买东西时，说是要帮朋友买的，原来是要给我们，这个阿花的鬼主意也真多…呵呵；还有阿芬抢着帮我付buffet的钱，说要请我吃。真要谢谢你们哦^^

下一次的见面应该就在10月的演唱会上了~到时见啰！

Shopping & Eating @ Square 2

We spent our sat (9/8) afternoon shopping & eating again... it was National Day but we didnt stay at home to catch the NDP & went out instead haha... its always the same old thing anyway, what a bore; and well, it doesnt mean we dont love our country when we skip the ndp.

Actually Kopi Gang meeting today also, to celebrate Dan's bday but its so far.. at Clementi.. i bu she de spend cab fare go to and fro Clementi leh.. and i dont have budget to spend so much.. when i go out with cousins & Mei, Mei is the one who pay for all my food expenses leh, but i dont do shopping so at least Mei just have to pay for my food when we go out. Think until i fully recovers and can go out without having to depend on cab, then can i go out with Kopi Gang again.. so reali feel paisey n bad to miss out on Dan's bday celebration.

Went Novena Square 2 to shop as our dearest Irene dont have a idea of what & where Square 2 is, i guess she have been abroad for too long.. that she dont even know what the Singapore Flyer is, what Central is, and worse of all, she thot we were joking when we told her in fact there's a drink called Anything and Whatever till we actually showed her the drink itself that she believed us... luckily we still have a can of each in our fridge at home. Faint... we also dont know whether to laugh or cry!!

Irene & Mei went on a uncontrollable earring/necklace shopping spree and only stop when i kept telling them i'm hungry. we had actually wanted go Liang Court for Jap food dinner, but i was too hungry to wait till then n they still havent shop enough at Square 2, so we settled for dinner at Waraku Pasta. I was so hungry that I ordered a pork chop & rice set, and poor Mei who was as hungry was "forced" to share a miserable small portion of pasta with Irene who refuses to let us order more, telling us not to eat too much.. but we are hungryyy!!! and speaking of the food, the portion was obviously lesser than before when i used to go eat with Cheryl & Fang; my soup was less than half the bowl, guess they gave less instead of raising prices.

Mei was so hungry that she had to poke on my rice, after finishing her half plate of pasta shared with Irene hahaha, & it doesnt help that I stoled a few mouthfuls too kekeke. The potato mochi side we ordered only have two miserable balls hahaha! wah reali bth... she just refused to let us order more food... its so infuriating!!! Before leaving, Irene told the Waraku staff that the pork chop we ordered was very hard.. it was reali dam hard lor. Went Anderson's for dessert: ice cream and cake, as Mei left Waraku hungry and irritated wahahaha. When the person asked if we had any blah blah blah cards for discount, we said we dont have... until i went home n told mama we went Anderson's for dessert that she said.. "you have discount card mah.. siao ah". oops yah i reali have Anderson's discount card but cos mama is the one who applied for me, so i forgot that i actually have the card! Iya only 10% anyway, nvm lor, i reali forgot lah..

After dessert, Irene n Mei continued their earrings/necklace shopping. Then Mei went Donut Factory to buy donuts before leaving. Irene came back with us and stayed for a while before she went home.

想念

其实现在蛮期待10月的演唱会的…希望到时侯会有更多机会和小伍说说话。总觉得去年他来时，我们没什么机会和他说话。其实还蛮怀念以前去看小伍的时候，最近和阿芬聊天，她也跟我一样都很想念那时候。也许当时我们还小，做什么事都较不一样。还记得当时有个活动在白沙，其他歌迷都抢着霸靠近舞台最前的位，但我们偏偏就不想坐着等，选择到处“探索”，结果给我们探到一辆坐着小伍的车停在我们面前的路旁。我们还在喵，结果才发现原来是小伍，我们当然高兴极了，只有我们两人在那里和小伍说长说短、乱哈拉一番，而且小伍还停在那里蛮久的。

对着小伍，我们曾经是敢死队，至少我们在众多人群中还是敢敢冲。虽然其他人都是一大群而我们只有微不足道的两个人，但我们都很开心、很自在，比起现在，我们以前快乐多了。对着小伍，我们曾经用过自己的一套，让他每一次来都能在我们不提醒的状况下说出我们的名字；当然现在没有这么做了，反正他都记得了。说实在的，我们俩以前真的有比较多机会和空间（而且每次都只有我们两个在场）和小伍聊……可能以前大家都在不同的地方等他吧。

也许现在年纪大了，要我们在一群人中，争着机会和小伍说话，我们做不到也不想那么做。只是有时候，有点想要回到从前，每组人都有平等轮流的机会跟他聊几句，至少在他眼里，我们认为我们都该是平等的。

哈哈…想念归想念，回到现实中，还是希望下一次的见面会是好的~希望我们能找回当初的快乐~期待中…

Yummy Shokudo Dinner

Went out on a feast yday again after shopping at Ikea.. ever since Irene is back, we have been gg out on feasts more than before haha.. oops i thot i said we r not gg to eat so much again.. but come to think of it, we didnt ate really much la... Yaki Gyoza, Plain Rosti, Teriyaki chicken cheese pizza, Teriyaki chicken cheese burger, Grilled chicken omu rice, waffle wif white sesame ice-cream, Tofu Cheese Cake, Japanese red bean dessert and 2 drinks, all shared between 4 of us, not too much la, just nice. Dont ask me why we ordered teriyaki chicken cheese pizza and burger, irene and mei went to order separately without asking about the flavour, so ended up we had to make do with the same flavour for the pizza and burger. But both was delicious so no regrets hahaha.

This was our first time at Shokudo and our baobei Alicia was excited about eating there; the real agony was sitting inside with all the yummy food calling out to us, but yet we cant start. irene said she wanted to go get something but she took so long!! When she finally came, Alicia wanted her gyoza so i went with her to order. When we were back Irene n Mei was already feasting at the rosti, and while i whipped out my hp for pixs, the rosti was already half eaten and one of the gyozas is alreadi missing.. Faint... and the dessert too, u can see all the forks coming together at the waffle at the same time... we do look like 4 hungry lions hahaha. i didnt wana miss anything so i sat myself down and dug into the food before we go order more food. Anyway we just continued ordering and eating when we finally decided we were more than full hahaha.

We are definitely gg back again as there are more food that we really would love to eat, but had to forgo since we couldnt eat any more. After a very satisfying meal, left Raffles Place n went Marina as Irene wanted to buy something from there. On the way, we bot a Newbie top for Alicia for her early bday present from Irene, Mei n i. Went home after shopping, shopping and more shopping.

今天早上9点多，在睡梦中给连续向着的电话声给吵醒，过了一会儿，还是伸手拿起在旁边的手机打回去。是燕芬啦，她说看了演唱会的位置详情后，决定还是要去啦。因为昨天晚上已经知道有这个演唱会了，当然是有小伍啦，要不然才不去呢…但昨晚这两个瓜都说不想去，结果我也就没购票啰。谁知过了一个晚上，她们就改变主意了。

就当阿芬在那里吵着叫我快点醒醒，上网去购票，我才伸了个懒腰，打开电脑去，也顺便打电话问阿花她到底还要不要去的。没人听，所已我就快速先买我跟阿芬的票，已经选好了，正在输入个人资料时，阿花来了电话，说她要去。所以只好重新再选过，在慌乱中终于顺利购票，就这样整个早上连睡衣都还没换掉，牙都还没来得及刷，就被叫起来购票了，真是的，哈哈。

现在我们可以倒数期待了。可恶的小伍，我还没找到工作没有收入啦，而且又无声无息就这样跑来演唱会，让我一点心理准备都没有。有没有听过，打是疼骂是爱，就酱啦，哈哈。

my leg injury is getting better but still making very slow progress.. in june, i started walking without crutches le but still very slowly.. and i have problems going up and down steps, so i still cant take bus for the moment, for now my only transport mode is taxi. even when i went for interviews, i had to go by taxi, which is the reason why i only choose to go interviews at nearer places. cos have alreadi no income now, cant spent too much money on cab fares la. anyway have been to two interviews only, one of which i had rejected due to its long working hours.

after i could finally dump my crutches aside, i have been out shopping several times, but only when i have someone to go with me. ya i can shop la, walk only i can but as i said cant walk fast and i try to avoid steps or stairs. and of cos i can only go by taxi, cos i have been cooped up at home for far too long, mei has been pestering me to go out walk walk, so my first time out after so long was in mid june to tbp. so far had went to buffets n shopping either by taxi or by car. car only when going out with irene or leng of cos.. thats y i still cant really meet up with my frens yet, that is until i can walk normally like before, if not i still would need someone to go with me.

ever since irene came back for good in jun, we have been out more often, for meals or shopping. i really missed going out wif frens but for the time being i cant.. unless anyone of u can come fetch me by car hahaha.. cos i dowan spend too much money on cab aso.. so the bottomline is.. I want to get a job FAST.

another thing.. i have a phobia of escalators now...

Buffet Spree

Its really sheer coincidence that we had our buffet dates arranged continuosly for the past 3 days.. yday we were at Akira @ Link Hotel with our cousins dearest, the day before we were at Sakura Orchard with mummy dearest, and a day before this, we were at Marriot Hotel lazing away the afternoon.

The story goes like this, cos Mei has just resigned on Wed and Thurs is her first day of rest before she starts her new job, so we decided we wanted to go buffet with mama on Fri, since she is off on Fri (not really la, is we ask her to request for off day on Fri), then a visit to Cheryl's facebook saw me n Mei drooling with all the yummy pics, so last min we booked a date on Thurs to Marriot Cafe for afternoon hi-tea, and then cousins dearest decided to fix our lunch date on Sat, and so for that continuous 3 days of eating n eating, we suffered from indigestion after that.

And we managed to get our workaholic cousin to snake on Thurs afternoon and join us for hi-tea at Marriott. Hohoho, thats our greatest achievement. All in all, i loved n enjoyed Thur's Marriott hi-tea most; while i was already half full when i reached Sakura Fri morning and couldnt down any food at all.. and the most amazing thing at Sakura was that mama went to toilet twice and puked to my horror when i went toilet wif her when we finished our buffet, n there i could see the mushrooms, veges, noodles all in puke form, argghs... well its not that the food is dirty la, its just that being a typical auntie, she thinks the more u eat the more worth it is, so even when she's already full to the brim, she just continued to stuff more food into her poor stomach... omg, nxt time dun bring her eat buffet le, eat ala-carte better. And Sat afternoon at Akira, i was reali feeling so indigested that i rather eat plain udon, chuwanmushi, paper steamboat with clear soup, unagi and cups n cups of green tea.

After lunch at Akira, we went Irene's house and munched on titbits, and we made it worse after we left Irene's house for Central with oily-doily British Takeaway finger food and desserts at Azabo Sabo. i think we are mad.. after that horrendous 3 days of eating, i bet we are not gg for any buffet in the near future. btw took fotos of all places except Akira, forgot to take hahaha..

New style Youtiao with different flavours dipped in dips of your choice. Mei bot three flavours including sesame, almond and onion and the chocolate dip. its nice but expensive!

Desserts Galore!

the above are jap mochi from Ah-yee, followed by donuts that Mei bot from Cineleisure and lastly a chocolate truffle cake from SwissBake to satisfy our sudden urge of cakes, but this cake turned out not nice as what i had expected, but its cheaper la, and we are eating it for no special reason, so Mei juz bot a cheap one lor coz initially i asked her to buy from Rive.
